No Equipment to Buy or Lease
The last thing any of us wants is another piece of hardware to buy, lease, or keep track of. VirtualNewsCenter™ is delivered via the Internet, making your newscasts available with equipment you already have. We offer a variety of ways to deliver your newscasts. Choose web or FTP download or our preference, P2P push. Push technology allows us to provide you the most current product possible, without your jocks or automation system having to check a site multiple times a day for updated cuts. When it's time to play the cut, simply play it -- you'll always have the latest cut we've produced.
Compatible with Today's Automation Systems
It's this simple: if your system can auto-import MP3 or WAV audio, we're good to go. We can provide your audio in a number of other file formats, too. Some automation vendors insist you bring audio in through their proprietary interfaces, so a person may still have to handle it. But we're working on solutions for those, too. Worst-case scenario: dig out an older PC you've retired, hook it up to an audio input and a contact closure on your automation, and we'll provide free player software that will air the proper cut on command. Online & Mobile
Already, about half our stations use their VirtualNewscenter™ content online. For them we blog each story we write, as it is written, so the online content (with audio) is updated throughout the day. See it on our blogroll now. We've chosen Blogger as the technology to support this interactivity. However, we can integrate with any system that makes a programming interface available.
