Border Media Adds VirtualNewsCenter in Austin PDF Print E-mail

Border Media Group has chosen VirtualNewsCenter's outsourced news product for a second market. Border Media's KXBT-FM (98-9 The Big Talker) is utilizing VirtualNewsCenter reports at the bottom of each hour from 5:30am to 11:30pm.

News reports are gathered and anchored by a four-person team: VirtualNewsCenter President Scott Roberts, who's based in Wichita, KS handles morning drive; Jean Fairbanks handles mid-day duties from her Philadelphia studio; Terry Hickman covers PM drive from his base in Denver; and Dale Forbis anchors evenings from Orlando. "We're glad to welcome Jeff and the crew at 98-9 The Big talker," said Roberts, "and we're pleased to continue our relationship with Border Media and help them grow their Austin ratings and news presence."

Vox Chooses VirtualNewsCenter for Fourth Cluster PDF Print E-mail

VOX RADIO GROUP has added VIRTUALNEWSCENTER reports for its Talk WIOU-A and Hot AC WZWZ (Z 92.5)/KOKOMO, IN. The addition marks the fourth VOX cluster using VIRTUALNEWSCENTER's outsourced local news reports.

ATLANTA-based JIM RAPOSA anchors for WZWZ, with NEW ORLEANS-based DEB ALBERTSON and DENVER-based TERRY HICKMAN as reporters.
