Scott has been in radio since 1981 and has been covering news continuously for the past decade. He co-founded VirtualNewsCenter in 2005 after a successful stint as the News Director of a statewide network in Kansas. His experience includes KFDI AM/FM, Wichita, KS; KWCH-TV, Wichita, KS; and KXXX-AM, Colby, KS. He also has several years experience in EMS Dispatch and as an EMT, and experience in Emergency Management at the state level.
Scott is a storm chaser and has both coordinated and participated in continuous storm coverage on both radio and TV. His reports or video have aired on ABC News Radio, CBS News Radio, Metro Networks, Associated Press Wire and Radio, CBS-TV, CNN, and the Weather Channel, and he has appeared live during Greta Van Sustern's Fox News TV program during the 2002 quadruple-murder trial in Wichita, KS.
